Boeing expects to be sued
Uzbekistan News.Net Friday 9th May, 2008
Boeing is expecting a compensation claim from Qatar Airways over a delay in the delivery of its 787 Dreamliner.
The Doha-based airline is reportedly looking into ordering more of the A380 super-jumbo’s, manufactured by Boeing's European rival Airbus, due to the delay.
In November, the Qatar government confirmed orders for 30 Dreamliners for its airline company.
Airline management says Qatar Airways will now have to look at buying smaller Boeing aircraft to compensate for the reported delay of the Dreamliners.

Boeing expects to be sued
Why buy Boeing at all? I must admit though, that the 787 is the most fuel efficient aircraft in the world. I wonder if it will stay that way, if and when, it ever takes off.
