Vodafone buys more of South African telecom

British mobile phone giant Vodafone has taken control of South African peer Vodacom.

South African phone operator Telkom agreed to sell the Vodafone a stake in Vodacom after the British operator offered a cash deal.

Vodacom Group will be listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
