Israel says it will open a food corridor in Gaza
Uzbekistan News.Net Wednesday 7th January, 2009
Israel says it has decided to open a humanitarian corridor into the Gaza Strip.
Israel has also agreed to suspend attacks in some parts of Gaza for three hours a day to allow people to receive essential goods from beyond the borders.
A statement early Wednesday by the Israeli government said the goal of the corridor was to "prevent a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip."
The UN Relief Agency, which says there is already a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, has welcomed the decision saying there has been little chance of people receiving supplies in the midst of fighting, when people were unable to go to food distribution centres.

HUMANITARIANS FIRST
During the War of Independence, when the fighting between Israelis and Arabs was fierce and it appeared that Israel might lose the war, many israelis were pushed to the brink of starvation by the Arab blockage. I wonder, would it have occurred to the Arabs to cease fighting for even one hour a day so that food and medicine could be brought to the Israelis? Oh, pleeeeeeze...when it comes to humanitarian measures, the Jewish people are in the forefront of every cause, while the Arabs are busy stroking the old goats.

Mrs. Mahdi...your an idiot.
we wont know if the arabs would have given them any break form starvation, because the israeli government was never in such a position. The “fierce fighting” was very one sided, because the israeli military was already so far ahead of all of its neighbors combined. however, I think we all got a sense of how humanitarian the israeli’s were when they ethnically cleansed 700,000 palestinans with brutal methods which were publicaly backed byt he prime minister, including widespread rape and murder by the IDF, so that their country could reach the 85% jewish quota that they desired. And also they are never going to allow a palestinian state to happen, because they already view all of that land as theirs. the buiding of the settlements on “palestinian” soiil should be proof enough.

Abraham???
Is that the Abraham that committed incest? That attempted to ruin the reputation of an Egyptian King by passing his wife off as his sister for marriage to the king?
Abraham the liar! Is that who you bring to this thread in praise?
