Obama implores Congress to do something about economy

President-elect Barack Obama has delivered what has been described as an emergency policy speech in Virginia.
He took the unusual step of delivering the speech to urge Congress to act quickly on his economic recovery program.
During the speech he warned that inaction by Congress could extend the current recession for many years.
On his economic stimulus plan, Mr Obama said: “I do not believe that it is too late to change course, but if nothing is done, this recession could linger for years. Every day we wait or point our fingers or drag our feet, more Americans will lose their jobs. More families will lose their savings."
The Obama stimulus plan has been assessed as costing around $800 billion.
The money will be used to loosen credit for consumers, create three million jobs and boost spending on infrastructure projects around the country.
Meanwhile, the Republican leader in the House of Representatives, Congressman John Boehner of Ohio, has expressed concern about the size of the Obama stimulus plan and its impact on the federal budget deficit.
He said while Congress needed to solve the crisis, it also needed to address the amount of debt that would be built up in a government bailout.
Democratic congressional leaders had hoped to pass Mr. Obama's economic recovery plan before he took office so that it would be ready for his signature on January 20.

Almost a sure losing Plan!
Please Mr Obama, Harken back to your college days! The 'Plan' needs to have a 'success goal' with known positive steps to the goal!
What is the agenda? Agenda!
It has to be the future! Low energy production plants and products! These things are doable but they need the direction of all Our Leaders beginning with you! It will take longer than you have in office with two terms! So be humble but force the agenda the People and the Country NEED!

economy and ecology
Since the financial trouble that the US has at this time is due to many factors, we should use many attacks. One that makes sense to bolster the economy and help the environment is called “The Pickens Plan” Please check it out! It is a plan to reduce our need for Petroleum products BUT, it will require MANY skilled and unskilled workers. No Joke! Please, please Mr. President look seriously at a plan you already know about and implement it ASAP. It is not “THE” answer but it will be one of the most important ones. One with THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF JOBS... NOW, Not in the someday future, Now!

... critically analyze my post. Show everyone your abilitiy! Your truth! YOUR EXPERTISE! Your Plan!
You seem to have missed the fact that I expect Obama to make the plan execute the plan and that he solves the Problem(s). My post is not about Knowing the Solutions but knowing what process is needed to solve the Problems. Big difference lil boy in big panties! Your mama did you no favors, changing your panties all thos years!
