Iranians hold protest march against US
Uzbekistan News.Net Wednesday 4th November, 2009 (IANS)
Thousands of Iranians including students held a protest march Wednesday marking the anniversary of the US embassy seizure in Iran 30 years ago, a report said.
The demonstrators chanting 'Down with the US' and 'Down with Israel' gathered in front of the former US embassy in Tehran to show wrath against US policies around the world, ISNA news agency reported.
Iranian students, during their seizure of the US embassy, had claimed to have discovered documents revealing that the US was carrying out espionage against Iran. Email this story to a friend
