KIGALI -- Remains of at least 791 victims of the 1994 Rwandan genocide against Tutsi have been exhumed from the shores of Lake Mugesera in eastern Rwanda since the search started in January, said Rwanda's umbrella organization of genocide survivors associations, IBUKA, on Tuesday.

"We intensified the search from August 26 and thereafter have recovered at least 547 remains of the genocide victims. The daily search continues until the whole area is combed for human remains," said Musafiri.

ULAN BATOR -- Mongolia's National Police Agency said Tuesday that it has launched a month-long national campaign dubbed "Cast No Shadow" with other relevant organizations to prevent crime, especially sexual assault, against children.

"At least 160 children, mostly girls have been affected by sexual assault across the country in the first eight months of this year. The majority of the perpetrators of the sexual violence are people close to the victims, including their stepfathers, brothers, relatives and even biological fathers," the NPA said in a statement.

KATHMANDU -- The Nepali government has decided to allow resumption of domestic flights and long-distance public ground transport services starting from September 21, after a hiatus of nearly six months, a Nepali cabinet minister said.

"The cabinet meeting on Monday decided to resume both domestic flights and long-haul ground public transportation services to help normalize the people's lives," Yogesh Bhattarai, minister for culture, tourism and civil aviation, told Xinhua on Tuesday morning.
