TEHRAN, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Majid Namjoo Motlagh, the interim coach of Iran's Esteghlal FC, said on Friday that although his players are tired, they will be ready for the upcoming match against Pakhtakor in the 2020 AFC Champions League Round of 16, the Tehran Times reported.

Esteghlal will face Uzbekistan champions Pakhtakor at Al Janoub Stadium on Saturday.

Namjoo Motlagh was quoted by Tehran Times daily as saying, "We've analyzed our opponents and identified their weaknesses and strengths."

"We played well against Al Ahli, but we have several injured players for the match against Pakhtakor. Our players are still a little tired, but we will do our best," he said.
