"China Shock 2.0" a boost for global economy, not a threat: U.S. media

The so-called "China Shock 2.0" is not a threat but a deflationary boost for the global economy, according to an op-ed by the Eurasia Review.

By supplying the world with affordable, high-quality, high-tech goods -- from EVs to semiconductors -- China is driving innovation, enabling green transition, and helping curb inflation, said the article.

In the long run, it argued, wealth comes from adapting to future efficiency, not protecting the past.

"For millions of people across the globe, that future currently comes with a 'Made in China' label, and it is more affordable, more advanced, and more necessary than ever."
