BAKU, May 18 (Xinhua) -- Azerbaijan firmly supports the one-China policy and opposes interference in China's internal affairs, Soltan Mammadov, leader of the Azerbaijan-China interparliamentary relations working group in the National Assembly, has said.

Stressing that separatism poses a serious threat to international peace and security, Mammadov said in an interview with Xinhua that Azerbaijan respects the sovereignty of states and resolutely condemns all forms of separatism.

Azerbaijan rejects any moves in support of "Taiwan independence," he said.
